Please do NOT steal this portrait of Emeralda! It's one of the few rare pics I have, and I went through a lot of trouble to clean it up for this page!! (Four hours in Photoshop to erase all the watermarks and text, and restore the picture to it's original appearance. You don't see much of Emerauda in the game. She doesn't say much, and overall she isn't given much significance, unless you count the fact that Krelian put out a lot of effort to get his hands on her. ^^ She is a four thousand year old artifact, a colony of nanomachines so complex in design that just replicating them is a difficult task. But although, as mentioned above, she doesn't say much, if you go to the Lighthouse at the end of the second disc (starting to sound like FF7 here...!), the game finally reveals her origin. Emerauda was created with the DNA of a scientist named Kim, and his wife Elly, meant to be the salvation of mankind at a time when humans were dying out due to genetic damage. From what I gathered, she never really awakened, because Elly and Kim died before they could truly release her and bring her to life. Fei and Elly are the same people who created her four thousand years ago, although they don't remember her. She immediately recognizes Fei, and falls into the habit of calling him "Kim" -- actually, more like "Kim! Kim Kim Kim Kim Kim!". ^_~ She seems not to like Elly, but...... well, later they seem to get along. In any case, after the flashback, Emerauda finds her humanity, and her wish to help Fei get Elly back, and she...... grows ...... from a young teenager to an adult, so she won't be such a bother anymore. (Personally, I didn't think she was a bother! Anyway...... anybody with more or better information, please e-mail me. But make sure it can be proven - no guessing or other types of speculation, please.)
