Well, everything I've got on Miang and her beginning is here. ^^ It's actually part of an e-mail conversation I was having awhile ago with someone who read my fanfic, "Shadows Falling", but it's pretty accurate as far as I can remember. I still don't agree with everything and some of it probably clashes with what I've written on the other pages, but since the game never really tells us the entire truth, it doesn't really matter. Anyway, we were discussing Miang and Urobolus...... as you'll probably guess by reading the passage. I cut a few things out, but everything pertaining to this subject is here. -- From Paul (Grnother@worldnet.att.net) -- I'm not sure whether I said I've seen the Scene from the Yggdrasil IV right before boarding the Eldridge all the way to the end of Deus beginning to terraform, but I've only seen it three times. I think. No less, though. I have seen the Scene from when Fei is finished talking to 'Har' or the 'Wave Existence', whichever you prefer, to when you see the end of Deus beginning to terraform, six times. I know what the line is. The girl in the 'Stasis Tube' is when the 'Mother' is created upon Abel making Contact with the 'Wave Existence'. That's not Elhaym, that's the real 'Mother'. Elhaym is the -Human- Mother. That is clearly stated in Kadomony/Kadomy. The 'Mother' formed Emperor Cain, the Gazel Ministry, and then replicas of herself: The Human -Mother-, Elhaym, and the Weapon, which resulted from Deus' 'Commands'. (snip) The Urobolus Ring is the term for the portion of the being that holds Data compressed and stored in Introns. Remember when Elhaym 'Elly' van Houten was in Krelian's Lab? He was speculating at what type of being Urobolus would be if it was assimilated. I think the Urobolus Ring is really only present in beings that can/have transmigrate and/or compress and store Data in their Introns, which only the -Contact-, Elhaym 'Elly', and Miang can do. However, that means its related to the 'Wave Existence', thus it looks somewhat like Miang. But the Name of the Weapon is Miang. Hence the -True Miang-. I think this explains what Miang is. Basically, she's the Weapon, and the Guardian of mankind. She may not act like it at times, but I suppose after ten thousand years of doing the same thing over and over, I might deviate a little too. I think it's surprising that she used her real name (Miang) during the game, when usually she tended to use the names of her host body. (Like when she was Fei's mother -- she called herself "Karen", not Miang.)Either she knew that her time of merging was near, or the woman's original name was Miang, and it was all just a freak coincidence. Elly didn't have much to do with this. ^^ She was a part of it by very nature, but until Miang took control she had absolutely no idea who/what she truly was. I wonder if all of those new memories faded into the background......
