Roni Fatima is the ancient anscestor of Bart, Sigurd, and Margie Fatima. (If you look closely, he and Sigurd carry a major resemblance to one another.) He ruled during the Nisan-Solaris conflict, fighting alongside Nisan and Shevat with his brother, Rene Fatima. At that time, his Anima Relic was aligned with Andvari as well (and I believe he lived through the Diabolos Wars. Barely.). Nothing really indicates how strong Roni was as a monarch, or if he and Rene ruled jointly, but the end of the war signaled the beginning of the custom we all love -- that the Great Mother of Nisan and the King of Aveh would wed. He buried his fortress beneath the foot of the mountain range above Nisan, and set a string of security codes that would allow no one without the Fatima Jasper to gain access to the weapon, or his Omnigear. It is my belief that the arrangement between Aveh and Nisan was made to preserve the inheritance of the Fatima Jasper in all of Roni/Rene's descendants, assuring that the Omnigear and his fortress could be reached again if the Diabolos (or Solaris) returned. This has been reinforced by a few fan fics (which, although are not in any way official, show that I'm not alone in this speculation). ^_~ (Everything below is speculation, or just my opinion) Hehhem...... you can see where Sigurd got his good looks, hmm? Now, just so you all know -- this is not the character portrait used in the game. That one is different, and bears more resemblence to Sigurd, but personally, I like this one better. He looks like a kind soul here, and that's what he's supposed to be like. This is the only one I have in the Perfect Works book -- it didn't give me any other, although I do have a small version (retouched after an hour in Photoshop) of the one in the game......
