This is an excerpt from an e-mail conversation with a friend of mine. Actually, I didn't ask if I could post this, so hopefully he won't be mad! ^^ But I think it's a good "theory" -- or set of them, as it may be -- and when I have time, I'll post other interesting texts on this, for those of you who actually care. ^_~
1) A few points. Miang is the mother. However, we see that she is
truly nothing more than Deus' mouthpiece. When Krelian states that Elly
is the true Miang, he can mean that Elly is the true mother of the
people... the true originator of life. |
2) We notice that Deus revives only when Miang and Elly "unite". 3) "Elly and Miang are one and the same"... after all, Miang lives in all females. 4) Elly was created by Zohar. (is that a fact, though?) Okay, in the beginning, we have a girl with purple hair walk out of a busted spaceship. Okay, there's proof that Miang exists and was created. >From here, we can think of multiple interpretations: -I've heard that Cain and the Ministry were born "inside" Miang... in other words, she reproduced asexually. -If Miang exists in all females, we can say that perhaps Miang was the originator of all life.... her genes would spread to everyone woman on the planet if she originated life. -However, if Elly was the true Miang (aka "Mother"), that means Elly is the true originator of life. -Elly and Miang are one. If Elly is the True Miang (aka "Mother"), though, then that's certainly not a false statement. -Note that we're saying that Miang (the person) (is NOT the true originator of life... it's just that she spawned the "bad boring side"... which was Cain and the Ministry (only).
1) Miang exists. But she's just a person, not the true originator of life. She asexually produces Cain. 2) Abel and Elly, on the other side of the world, have kids. However, since the world totally hates incest and would rather not live without it, the son (we'll assume) of Elly and Abel has intercourse with Miang later on. (Side note: Notice that Cain and Abel would be the only males alive at this point. Note that it never states directly in the Bible how the heck they married when they were supposed to be the only people on the earth. This is where Miang and Elly come in). 3) Therefore, when Miang gives birth to their children, or what not, EVERYONE under Miang would have "Miang the purple-haired chick" in them. However, you'll notice that Elly is pure and good... that's because the ORIGINAL Elly never had any tainted Miang in her. 4) Because they were split apart right from the beginning (Miang being the mouthpiece of Deus, Elly being the Mouthpiece of the ol' Wave Existence (WE)), the goal of Deus was to capture and submit the WE's mouthpiece. He could only do that by doing all that freaky stuff with the Animus, Merkava (sp), and the crucifix and junk. By unifying Elly and Miang, we finally have (symbolically), Deus conquering over the WE. I'd have to get better facts, and perhaps I can derive whether this argument is valid or not by mathematical logic, but at initial glance, it looks all right.
