This passage is a bit different from the part on The Mother, never fear! We purposely left information out of the other one so we could display it here. Like we stated on the other page, Miang was born from Deus just after the crash of the Eldrige, meant to give birth to the human race that would eventually revive her "father". (No, that's not how he's classified - it's symbolism. ^^) She is known as "System Hawwa", or the equivelent of Eve to the world of Xenogears. After she gave birth to the first humans, she split into Elly and Miang, and the original body returned to Zohar's preservation tube - the one that used to contain the original "Elly". (She's still in there too - but guess what..... she's got red hair. ^_~) Here, Miang begins her transmigration. Most of her lives are still a mystery unfortunately -- she died in 00001, one year after she spawned the first humans of that world, and she was next seen in Zeboim, acting as the power behind the Prime Minister from 6053 to 6081 (sort of like the Prime Minister in SW Episode One!). Her first showing in Solaris happened around the year 9080, a four centuries before the Nisan-Solaris conflict. The Ministry, of course, would recognize their "Mother", and she gained all the resources of the "Abel". I can only assume that the birth of Elly's next incarnation alerted her to something, because around this time (9080-9400) Solaris's oppression became altogether heavier on the surface than ever before. During this four hundred years of accelerated rule, Shevat was raised on Babel in opposition, and Solaris began constructing the warship Merkabah at her insistence. During her fourth major lifetime, Miang became Fei's mother, Karen. (She also took that name on, which was unusual for her. Everywhere but Solaris she was called "Karen". She obviously had to keep the act up.) When her "husband" was gone she took Fei to Solaris, where he underwent the traumatizing treatments that caused Ido to emerge; when at home she maintained the other woman's nature. When Fei was (supposed to be) 10-13, he had finally had enough -- the resulting attack and emergence of Ido killed Karen's body, and Miang was forced to transmigrate again. I don't know what poor soul was forced out this time (no name was given), but Miang again took on her own name, and established herself in the Solarian military as an Element, replacing Ramsus when he was promoted (This is not fact, but it's implied). She also gets rather close to him (we all recall the speedo scene, dont'we? ^_~), and constantly influences his decisions through hypnosis and phycological manipulation. Later on she dies by his hand, and re-emerges in Elly. (Everything below is speculation.) Someone (I'm afraid I lost the e-mail message) suggested that Miang's current body was tailored for Miang specifically, in Krelian's lab. It's an interesting idea, definitely. ^_^
